We have adopted all policies and procedures outlined by the State of Vermont Department of Health and will continue to adapt and change our policies as they do.
To give a few examples of what we are doing to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within our center:
- Staff wearing scrubs and aprons to prevent the transfer of germs from home to school and vice versa
- Changing clothing when we get a child's secretion on us.
- Rigorous cleaning in each classroom - disinfected upon arrival, mid-day, and upon all students leaving
- Mask wearing is required of all staff members.
- Masks are strongly encouraged from all children ages two and up, as developmentally appropriate.
We are currently enrolled in the Test for Tots program to mitigate the amount of time children are missing care due to a COVID-19 diagnosis or being considered a close contact.
